CDOT Contract Execution Process Improvement

CDOT processes over $1B in contracts and agreements every year to deliver transportation infrastructure and programs for travelers in Colorado. Because all contracts funnel through a small approval processing team, they have experienced delays and inefficiencies as more contracts and dollars move through CDOT. Leadline worked with the Division of Accounting & Finance to understand the contracting function at CDOT, potential improvements, and restructuring. As a result, CDOT should be able to reduce its contracting time in half which much more collaborative functionality.
