Town of Erie

Neighborhood Speed Management Program

Summary

The Town of Erie seeks to identify new ways to manage vehicle speeds and prevent crashes on neighborhood streets. Erie envisions a program that is supported by technical analysis and community engagement to deploy appropriate tools to manage speeds in neighborhoods.

In partnership with transportation consultant Fox Tuttle, Leadline provides project management expertise to create a well-organized, goal-oriented project that incorporates community feedback with technical analysis and Erie’s strategic vision.

Approach

Leadline are experts at seeing the through-line to meet a project’s goals. That’s often where projects get sideways. Typically, teams subtly change direction without realizing the goals have also shifted, creating inefficiency and confusion.

Leadline brings strong expertise to the Neighborhood Speed Management Plan by solidly understanding the Town’s goals and constraints, expectations from stakeholders, timeline components, and the needs to properly inform outcomes. Then, we build an agile project management plan and collaborate with the team to execute project goals on time and on budget.
